The Florentine Urn, shown here in the Old Rustic finish, has a classic style and is often used to top a pedestal. The wide surface area allows for taller plants in the centre surrounded by shorter and trailing flowers. All Classic Rock planters/containers are made of cast concrete (“cast stone”) and have good drainage holes.    Manufactured here on Vancouver Island, these containers are readily available. Superior containers are well designed, visually pleasing and longer lasting, thus proving their worth over time.  Note: Any planter benefits from being raised 1/2″ or more above a flat surface allowing better drainage.  Larger pedestals manufactured by Classic Rock (product codes beginning with the letter “D”) can be ordered with a drainage hole down the centre.
